How do you practice Zen?

Share this:

Practicing Zen Buddhism is essentially not complicated. There are two stages:

  1. Sit quietly.
  2. Wait to see what happens.

That’s it, more or less. Except that, ultimately, there is no need even to wait to see what happens.
Actually, there is no need to sit.

The only possible problem may be a belief that there is something specific that you should be doing. Or not doing. If this occurs, then that is what is happening – a belief, a mental event.

If anything is unclear, please ask until it is absolutely clear.
