Although things happen, that does not necessarily mean that someone is doing them.

Share this:

This world, including your mental and physical state, changes all the time. But although you are changing, that does not necessarily mean there is anybody doing the changing. Although things happen, that does not necessarily mean that someone is doing it.

Just as rain falls without needing to invent something or somebody that is moving the drops downwards, so our bodies and minds respond to conditions and behavior occurs without a need to invent an “I” who is doing it.

When you understand this deeply, there is neither success nor failure, neither criticism nor guilt. All that remains is a calm, happy ongoing, tension-free learning process fueled by your biology and nature.

Life is easier.
